Chocolate Truffle Pound Cake

Mix-in-a-Jar

Moist pound cake provides a welcome treat for Christmas.

Ingredients:

3 c. sugar

3 c. all-purpose flour

½ tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking soda

½ c. cocoa

Directions:

Combine ingredients and pour in airtight jar.

Ingredients:

1 jar Chocolate Truffle Pound Cake Mix

¾ c. butter

5 eggs

1 c. milk

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Butter a 9-cup Bundt pan.

In large bowl of electric mixer, cream butter until smooth.

Add eggs one at a time, beating after each.

Add milk and vanilla, beating mixture until thoroughly blended.

Add mix and continue to beat for 3 minutes until smooth.

Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 1 hour and 5 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted into middle comes out clean.

Cool 25 minutes in pan.

Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
